Ecological Characterization of the Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve, U.S. Virgin Islands

This project began in January 2004 and was completed in April 2005. We gathered a time series of aerial photographs, mapped coral reefs, mangroves, and seagrasses, and summarized previous ecological studies into a descriptive report for use by scientists and resource managers. Benthic and land cover maps are provided in a PDF format for quick and easy download and printing. These PDF files are formatted to be printed on 8.5 inches by 11 inches (21.6 centimeters by 27.9 centimeters) paper. Additional information on the data products and maps below are provided in the Report.
